Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do share a limited set of it for advertising measurement, but only in one specific case, described below. This page explains that case and how to stop it.
1 Your Global Privacy Control status
Your browser is not currently sending a Global Privacy Control signal. You can turn one on to opt out automatically, on our site and on every other site that honors it — see Section 3.

2 What we share, and when
Businesses use Inboxxit to run a chat widget on their own website. If a business connects its own advertising account, we report that business's conversions — a qualified lead, a booked appointment, or a won sale — back to that business's own Meta or Google Ads account, so it can measure its own campaigns.
What is sent: email address and phone number irreversibly hashed (SHA-256) so they cannot be read back, advertising click identifiers, the landing page address, the browser user agent, and the deal value where recorded.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this counts as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is why this page exists. It is not a sale: we receive no payment for it, and each business's data only ever reaches that business's own advertising account.
None of this happens unless the business has connected an advertising account. Full detail is in Sections 1.5 and 4.5 of our Privacy Policy.
3 Opt out with Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a setting your browser sends on your behalf. We honor it automatically — there is no form to fill in and no account needed. When we see it we stop reading advertising cookies from you and suppress every upload about you to an advertising platform.
You can turn GPC on by:
- Using a browser that sends it by default, such as Brave, DuckDuckGo, or Mullvad Browser
- Enabling it in Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → "Tell websites not to sell or share my data"
- Installing an extension that sends the signal, such as Privacy Badger or the OptMeowt extension, in Chrome, Edge, or Safari

4 Other ways to opt out
If you are an Inboxxit account holder, disconnect the advertising account under Settings → Ads & Conversions. That stops all conversion reporting for your business immediately, for every one of your leads.
If you chatted with a business that uses Inboxxit, that business decides whether conversion reporting is switched on, so contacting it directly is the most complete route. You can also email us at privacy@inboxxit.com with the website you visited and the email address or phone number you gave, and we will suppress advertising reporting for your records and pass the request on.
Blocking third-party and advertising cookies in your browser also prevents most of these identifiers from ever reaching us.
We will not discriminate against you for opting out. Opting out does not affect your ability to use a chat widget or to hear back from the business you contacted.
5 Authorized agents
An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf by emailing privacy@inboxxit.com with written proof of authorization. We may contact you to confirm it.
